Minimalistic side table by Wim Rietveld for Auping – Netherlands 1955

Very nice and hard to find side table, designed by Wim Rietveld in the 1950s for Auping. Beautiful fragile and transparent design with a black lacquered tubular metal frame and a laquered multiplex wooden top with right beneath it an integrated perforated metal shelf.

This table is in a good condition with signs of use, the original paint of the top show its age, some craquelé and little pieces of paint missing on the edges. The frame and bottom shelf have very little wear.

Personally we like the originality of this elegant table!
