Model 013 easy chair by Alf Svensson for Dux – Sweden 1950s

Beautiful set of two lounge chairs designed by Swedish designer Alf Svenson for Artifort/Dux in the 1950s. This chair is in contrast to many other of his items made of metal. This gives the chair a more robust appearance and is not often seen in mid-century Scandinavian design. The upholstery and the cushions with interior suspension are completely original, which is very unique.

Both chairs remains in good condition with little signs of use, the upholstery is professionally cleaned and shows no wear and tear, only slight discoloration.

These chairs were sold by Artifort in the Netherlands that’s why they are often credited to Artifort. Special object for the design lover, looks very beautiful in a modern and industrial interior.
