Nice minimalistic extendable dining table from the Japanese series, model TU31, designed by Cees Braakman in 1962 for Pastoe. Chromed metal frame and white laminated top. The table has an extension leaf lying underneath the tabletop, with an ingenious system you can slide away the tabletop and pull out the extension leaf. Thanks to this clever construction, the top can be extended from 157 to 216 cm.
Hard to find version in excellent original condition.
